General directions to campus from out of town are available on The College's website or by directly visiting http://www.wm.edu/about/visiting/directions/index.php . If Coming to Tucker Hall... Many Detachment classes and functions are held in Tucker Hall, room 114. Tucker Hall is building #97 located on the campus map provided at http://www.wm.edu/about/documents/wmmap.pdf. It is down near the lower right portion of the main campus, as marked on the map. Visitors may turn into the stadium parking lot at the intersection between Richmond and Scotland, go through the parking lot until you start sloping downhill (past the stadium) near the Sadler Center, turn left when you get to the end of the road, and proceed down the street in the middle of campus until you see the gate to take you back out onto Richmond Road. When you see that gate, you will also see a small parking area along the street, and Tucker Hall will be the building you are directly behind. The parking area is open to visitors after 17:00 and on weekends; if not during those off-peak times, please use parking along Richmond Road, or request a parking pass in advance. Room numbers are marked on the walls and doors once inside.If coming to the Sadler Center (formerly the University Center)... The Sadler Center is building #84 located on the campus map at http://www.wm.edu/about/documents/wmmap.pdf. Visitors may turn into the stadium parking lot at the intersection between Richmond and Scotland, go through the parking lot (you may park here if a weekend or after 5:00 PM) or proceed until you start sloping downhill (past the stadium) near the Sadler Center, where there is additional limited street parking. The Sadler Center is the large building next to and slightly downhill from the stadium, with an adjacent outdoor terrace. Most Detachment functions (recruiting fairs, graduation, etc) are held on the second or third floors around the Atrium. Graduation on May 16, 2009, will be held in the Commonwealth Auditorium on the second floor, just off the Atrium. |
